'Himalayan Neruda' Yuyutsu Sharma presented an evening of Poetry w/ me at the Provincetown Library a few years ago. He invited me to this year's Festival and waived the $2,895 Registration Fee which included lodging. My niece Jen Ohlson created (+ she and her partner contributed to) a GoFundMe account re: my airfare.
Visiting Kathmandu, Nepal was truly a holy experience.
Linda's stunning photographs of sprawling, near shapeless coastal landscapes depict the glorious union of earth, sea and sky, a theme that has become the core of her writing as well as her photography.
Out of the majesty of her photographic images and the personal urgency of her prose writing has come a purpose, a mission: global peace.

Acclaimed Himalayan poet Yuyutsu Sharma came to Provincetown for an overnight. He and I presented a program at the Provincetown Library. We also shared at the Mews Coffeehouse.
We have kept in contact ... and recently he invited me to the Himalayan Literature Festival. I was awarded a Full Fellowship that covered the $2,895 Registration fee inc. lodging.
